I started travelling on the bus from: From the very beginning. July 2017 to September 2018.


How did you get on board? How could I not?

Did it live up to its name/reputation? It can't really dive but other than that, yes.


What was the biggest challenge that surprised you about bus life? It can get hard even if you travel with the people you love most.


Tell us where & how many different places you slept on the bus. What is sleep?


Since we don’t have a bathroom, where was your favourite bathroom location? Ocean.

What did you sacrifice or gave up during your bus stay? Unreasonable stubbornness and fake pride.

What did you contribute to bus life? Good fuckin times.


Best bus travel tip? Don't take yourself too seriously.


What was your favourite bus meal/drink? Homemade pasta!


What food/recipe did you learn to cook with us? I didn't know how to cook rice before I went travelling

Your favourite feature of the bus? The crew.


Let's talk about bus breakdowns. Tell us in detail about one experience? I taught Nadine how to drive stick in the bus - the bus didn't break down but everyone else did.


How was it fixed, and what you thought at the time? Patience. I thought, 'it's pretty badass to buy a bus if you can't drive it'.


In 10 years, I will look back and remember: The laughter, the tears and how we became something that neither time nor distance can tear apart.


If you could relive an experience with the bus it would be? Montañita for life.


Anything we should have/do MORE or LESS of? Less problema más solución. (Less problems, more solutions)


How do we compare with travelling by public transportation and staying in hostels? Way better!


So you had what it took and you survived. Would you recommend buslife to others? 100%


Any advice for us? Take a walk on the wild side.


When we drive our wheels into Canada, what will you do? Probably wake up.
